Welcome Prospective Students

The graduate programs in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are designed to develop well-educated, independent scientists who will contribute to diverse circumstances where chemical/biochemical knowledge and skills are needed. Alongside domestic students, international students have long played an important role in our graduate program. International students currently represent about 16 countries from all over the world and compose approximately 46% of the total graduate student body in our department. We anticipate that your time here will be stimulating, rigorous, and rewarding.
